AFSCME Local 1693 represents the Unit III Employees of the
Anne Arundel County Maryland Public School System.
"Unit III" refers to a negotiating unit composed of permanent custodial, maintenance, food service, bus driver, bus attendant, warehouse, mail and print shop, and transportation employees of the Board in pay grades 1‑14 who regularly work an average of four or more hours per day.
